And Baby Makes 3!

Lydia Jade is here. I got the ultimate birthday present. She arrived at 9:32 Saturday, January 10th, weighing 7lbs 13 oz and 21 inches long. She has a full head of dark hair and dark eyes. Everyone is doing well. Dad was a great coach though out the process. More pictures can be found HERE

Short Birth Story for those interested:
My water broke on Friday afternoon. Bob left work a few hours early to come get me and go the hospital. Once we were checked in. They started me on Oxytocin to induce labor. Quickly my own body took over and the drugs were turned off. The contractions got so powerful and close together I was getting easily worn out. I opted for an Epidural. This made the rest of the labor much better and allowed both of us to get some rest before the delivery in the morning. Lydia was born after not much pushing at 9:32am. Because it was started with my water breaking and the risk of infection, Lydia was put on some antibiotics as a precaution. She is doing well and it will not delay us going home at a reasonable time.

She is already a blessing to us and we can't wait to see her personality emerge as she grows up.
